[Stockholm 7th of May 2012] Swedia Capital’s venture company, Swedia HighP, invests in EcoDevelopment in Europe AB. EcoDevelopment’s objective is to secure energy supply in society using sustainable and green alternatives. The company is involved in a sugar cane project in Tanzania called Bagamoyo, lead by Agro EcoEnergy www.ecoenergy.co.tz. Tanzania has a prioritized national policy to attract foreign investments into modern and industrial scale sugar cane production. EcoEnergy will develop a greenfield sugar cane project of approximately 11,000 ha in Bagamoyo, where a processing facility will be established to produce ethanol/sugar and co-generation of electric power.
